Building High Performance Teams
UTDS will help your staff transition from a traditional to a High Performance Team. In contrast to traditional work groups which are characterized by specialization, standardization, division of labour, centralization, uniformity and control, High Performance Teams manifest shared purpose, empowerment, a holistic view, a structure which is optimally aligned to the organization’s (department’s) purpose, a developmental managerial role, customer focus and continuous learning. This multi-module training and development intervention targets entire teams and builds capacity in a number of areas essential to high performance. Specific modules include but are not limited to: team dynamics, team member roles and responsibilities, decision-making, problem solving, conflict management and productive meetings.
